Designer CHRISTINE MORTON was asked to re-visit her roots, open up her trunks of vintage lace and design a couture wedding dress for her eldest daughter Selena Farris.
February 26th close friends and family gathered at a private residence in Sayulita, Mexico to share in the nuptuals and celebration. There on a sunlit deck overlooking the ocean the bridesmaids entered looking like mermaids in Christine’s Cameron Blue silk gowns. They were followed by gasps as the bride presented herself in an ivory crepe silk gown with plunging V back detail. Some of Christine’s most precious pieces of antique lace were appliqued onto the bodice and train, while a miniature bouquet of hand-made silk flowers decorated the gown at the small of the back.
“It was truly a spectacular day and it was so inspiring to make this dress for my daughter” – Christine Morton
